04/03/2020

OTTOLENGHI CELEBRATES FEMALE WINEMAKERS AND GROWERS

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Ottolenghi restaurants and delis will be running a limited-edition wine list highlighting some of their favourite female winemakers and growers. In an industry still often dominated by men, the list will highlight some of the incredible rarer wines made by women. Suppliers include Ottolenghi regular Montenidoli from Marina, a brilliant Georgian winemaker, and Elena Pantaleoni of La Stoppa Wines who is contributing her Bucca Delle Canne of which only 500 are made each year.

The week launches on Monday 2nd March and culminates in a sharing feast at ROVI on Sunday 8th hosted by the team and Zainab Majerikova of Basket Press Wines.
