TASTED CHARITY TO HOST FIFTH BIRTHDAY DINNER WITH ANNA JONES AND BEE WILSON

On 1st October, TastEd, the charity aimed at transforming food education, will host a special fundraising dinner at Honey & Smoke. Marking five years of TastEd’s game-changing work in schools and nurseries, Anna Jones and Bee Wilson will welcome guests to Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich’s Fitzrovia restaurant to raise money with a celebratory evening of veg-centric food, drink, and festivities.

The dinner will start at 7 pm with a welcome drink followed by a three-course vegetarian menu from Head Chef, Itamar Srulovich alongside co-hosts Bee Wilson and food writer and patron, Anna Jones, highlighting dishes from their latest cookbooks. Seasonal dishes will include Honey & Smoke’s signature Middle Eastern starters followed by Mushroom shawarma with sumac onions and Burned finger lentils for the show-stopping mezze-style main course. For dessert, Bee’s Marsala pears with clove cream and Vegan pear, lemon, and ginger cake will be served to share.

The evening will also include a food and drink-themed raffle, with prizes including a meal for two at the celebrated Killiecrankie House in Scotland, Champagne from Laurent Perrier, and Anna’s entire cookbook collection.

TastEd was founded in 2019 originally working in partnership with a handful of schools. TastEd now boasts a successful online platform, providing free resources to over 1,300 schools and nurseries across England. Educating children from as young as three with a practical approach in which fresh vegetables and fruit are brought into the classroom, TastED’s unique approach teaches children to use their senses to explore new foods, encouraging them to talk and write about their experiences while supplying teachers with support, training, and resources.

Profits from ticket sales will be donated to TastEd to help the charity support more children to learn new tastes for life.
